Question 1

How does Forepost verify its PGA coaches?

Accepted Answer

Every coach must hold an active PGA of America membership. Forepost checks the member record when the coach applies and re-checks the national roster on the first of every month. If the membership is no longer current, the profile is unfeatured until it is renewed.

Question 2

How do I choose a coach and time, then complete my booking?

Accepted Answer

Browse coaches by neighborhood, compare each profile’s specialties, home course, reel, and published rate, then choose an available time. After you sign in, the hosted checkout confirms the lesson and the booking details; payment is collected upfront.

Question 3

How are lesson pricing and duration calculated?

Accepted Answer

Each coach publishes a whole-dollar per-hour rate on their profile before you reach out. The current paid booking flow calculates the amount server-side from that rate and the lesson duration, with the standard v1 booking capped at 60 minutes; the final amount is rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

Question 4

How do I cancel an upcoming confirmed booking?

Accepted Answer

The player who owns the booking can cancel it from their bookings area while it is still confirmed and its start time is in the future. Forepost marks that booking cancelled; the current cancellation handler does not issue a Stripe refund automatically, so the site does not promise a refund.

Question 5

What should I bring to my lesson?

Accepted Answer

Bring your usual clubs, comfortable golf shoes, and a notebook or your phone for the swing thoughts you want to keep. If you are new to the game, ask the coach about borrowing a half set; the coach handles the balls, practice time, and any on-range video they want to capture.
